Barragan was arrested early this morning after leading police on a high-speed chase through South Ada County.
According to court documents, an ISP trooper clocked Barragan going over 100 miles an hour heading west on 84 near the Cloverdale Underpass. When troopers tried to pull him over, Barragan sped up even more, weaving through early morning traffic at over 120 miles an hour. Police successfully deployed spike strips as Barragan headed south on Eagle Road, and he was taken into custody near the intersection of Avalon and Kay in Kuna.

Maetas was arrested for allegedly firing a gun inside a Boise apartment during a domestic dispute early yesterday morning. According to a news release, Boise Police responded to a ‘Shots Fired’ call at an apartment complex near North Five Mile and Chinden just after 4:00 AM Monday morning. Court documents say Maestas threatened two women with a handgun inside the apartment, and then fired a single shot into the ceiling.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the exchange.
During their investigation, police found drug paraphernalia, a digital scale and a large amount of cash, so add that to the list of charges.

Gonzalaz was arrested for allegedly following a 13-year-old girl home from the park, screaming obscenities at her, and then banging on her apartment door. Police arrived at the girls apartment to find Gonzalaz laying on the front lawn, punching the ground and muttering to himself. According to court documents, Gonzalaz admitted to smoking “blues”, which is code for Fentanyl, and ingesting both Meth and Adderall.
He was taken to West Valley Medical Center, where he was sedated several times before being booked into Canyon County Jail.
Police say he was incredibly belligerent with police and medical staff.
Robbery – F
Martin-King was arrested for allegedly entering a woman’s home, hitting her in the face and stealing her cell phone. It’s unclear if the two knew each other, or what circumstances surround the incident.
