The title was way harder than it had to be today. The creative juices are apparently nicotine-based, and i’m all out of them.

Vigil was the subject of a pretty intense SWAT operation yesterday by the Caldwell Police Department et al.
According to court documents, SWAT team members executed a search warrant on Vigils home near Cherry St in Caldwell at about 3:00p. The search netted about 10 grams of MDMA, 2 grams of Cocaine, and about 42 grams of other substances officers weren’t able to immediately identify.
Police also specifically pointed out Vigil had an Insane Clown Posse wallet. No idea why that needed to be documented, but whatever.

The year was 2013.
Carlie Rae Jepsen was blowing up the pop charts with Call Me Maybe, and a Korean performer named Psy was dominating clubs and living rooms with his new dance, Gangnam Style.
That same year, Mendoza allegedly pushed an Ada County Detention Deputy and hit him in the face.
The statute of limitations on most felonies in Idaho is five years, with misdemeanors falling off at 2 to 3 years depending. But somehow Mendoza’s crime is still on the books 10 years later.
The only reason I could come up with is if you move from the state during the statute of limitations period, it apparently pauses. I’m no expert on this subject though.

Moore was arrested after police spotted a small container on the back seat of her car with a cartoon pot leaf emblazoned on it. This wasn’t enough for a full on search, but it was enough to raise an eyebrow or two. Moore’s car also allegedly smelled like pot, which IS enough for a search in the State of Idaho.
In all, police found about 9 grams of meth during their search.
