Eric Gallion

Arrest Date:
12/11/2023
Location:
2318 12th Ave Rd, Nampa, ID, USA
Age:
50
Charges:

Eluding – F

DUI – M

Open Container – M

Narrative:

Tip of the day: When a police officer tells you to get a taxi home, get a taxi home.

Gallion was arrested after allegedly leading police on a brief low-speed chase through an Albertsons parking lot in Nampa.  According to court records, NPD officers responded to a report of a man passed out in his car  Police arrived on scene to find Gallion, slumped over the steering wheel, with an open bottle of Crown Royal in the center console.

Gillion’s keys were in his pocket though, and no witnesses actually saw him drive to the store.  The best Nampa PD officers could do was tell him not to drive home, and try to call him a cab.

He was apparently not keen on either request.

Gillion allegedly came out of the Albertsons 20 minutes later, put his car in reverse and was immediately lit up by a waiting police officer.  He paused briefly and then continued on at a low rate of speed.  The officer executed three low-speed pit maneuvers and brought Gillion’s vehicle to a halt.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Justin Alderman

Location:
31797 Scott Pit Road, Parma, ID, USA
Age:
43
Charges:
Theft by Receiving Stolen Property – F
Narrative:

Alderman was arrested after police found him in possession of a 2000 Toyota Tundra that had been reported stolen out of Canyon County.

There’s not much more to this story, but the arresting officer gave a bit of a master-class on spotting a stolen vehicle.  According to court documents, when the officer stopped out with the pickup, the license plate didn’t match what was on file.  This is known as ‘Cold Plating’.

The VIN number was also obstructed in the windshield, and the VIN sticker was removed from the driver’s side door panel.

When the officer looked at the vehicle’s keys, he noted they appeared to be filed down on the sides.  This is typically done when you don’t have the original keys for a vehicle.

ALSO, Alderman told the officer he purchased the pickup for ‘$300 and a guitar’.  Typically, vehicles cost more than this, especially a Toyota Tundra.  The owner of the pickup told officers the vehicle is actually worth about $5,000.

Stephen Ray Duckworth

Arrest Date:
13/11/2023
Location:
Boise, ID, USA
Age:
31
Charges:

4x – Forgery – F

3x – Grand Theft – F

Narrative:

Duckworth was arrested on a warrant issued back in July.  According to court records, he and a homeless man from Nampa allegedly walked into several banks in the Twin Falls area and cashed fraudulently-generated checks from various local businesses.  The checks totaled just over $14,000.

This appears to be part of a much larger criminal conspiracy, of which Duckworth and company might be low-level pawns.

Duckworth’s alleged partner-in-crime was actually picked up back in July.  He told police two men approached him on the streets and asked if he wanted to help on a construction site.  They took his ID Card to do a “Background check” and picked him up the next day.  Instead of taking him to a job site, however, they drove him to Twin Falls and forced him to cash several checks at various banks.  Police were able to confirm parts of his story using cameras from various gas stations they stopped at.

The man told Twin Falls Police he believed he cashed about $30,000 worth of checks that day.

Location:
South Americana Boulevard, Boise, ID, USA
Age:
33
Charges:

Arson III – F

Narrative:

Stout was arrested after allegedly lighting several dumpster fires on Americana Blvd in what appears to be an attempt to get police attention.  The fires were quickly extinguished, and PD located Stout as he walked east on Shoreline Drive holding, what appeared to be, two handguns.

BPD conducted a high-risk pedestrian stop and managed to get Stout into custody without incident.  When police searched Stout, they found two pieces of plastic fashioned to look like guns tucked in his waistband.  He told police he wanted to commit suicide by cop.

Arrest Date:
08/11/2023
Location:
Middleton, ID, USA
Age:
21
Charges:

Burglary – F

Malicious Injury to Property – M

Attempted Unlawful Entry – M

Narrative:

Hernandez was arrested for allegedly trying to break into a home in Middleton.  According to the victim, Hernandez came to the home and tried kicked the door in, breaking the hinges and door frame.  He then went around back and ripped the screen door off and started throwing lawn furniture around.

Law enforcement caught up to him a short distance from the scene and Hernandez immediately assumed the position, getting on his knees and placing his hands on his head.  He’d clearly had prior run-in’s with the law, and actually this officer in particular.

When police tried to question him about the incident, he told them “I was trying to get my stuff”.  He then invoked his right to remain silent (Smart Smart Smart).

This is a great reminder that you can remain polite, and compliant without sacrificing your constitutionally-given rights.

  1. According to the article, Gallion was taken into custody “without incident” although three pit maneuvers and his mugshot are proof incident was definitely involved in my opinion.
