On December 21, 2023, around 1:45 p.m. Boise Police responded to a report of stabbing in the bathroom of a grocery store (winco) on the 100 block of E. Myrtle Street.  Officers arrived quickly to find employees and witnesses providing aid to the adult male victim and restraining the suspect. Officers secured the scene and Ada County Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital with serious injuries.  The adult male suspect was taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.

Detectives believe there may have been a witness in the bathroom who left before speaking with police, any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are asked to call Ada County Dispatch, 208-377-6790.
