What we know from Scanner Traffic:

At about 7:32 PM on Christmas day, Boise EMS and Police were called for service to an address on Pomona Court.  Pomona Court is a small street just south of the intersection of Milwaukee and Ustick, on the Boise Bench.  The call initially came in as a ‘Code Blue’ for EMS units and an ‘Unknown Problem’ for police, but the incident was quickly reclassified as a shooting.

Boise police quickly moved to an encrypted radio channel and medical units were staged outside the neighborhood.  Ten minutes later, medical units are told police have a suspect in custody and medics were cleared to go into the house.

Five minutes after that, medical units request a LUCAS device, which is an aid for CPR.

Editor's Notebook

The coroner has ruled the death a homicide.  This sounds scary AF and makes a great headline.

But in the coroner’s realm, all it means is Pistole was shot and killed by someone else.  End.

It says nothing about intent.

The police are tasked with determining intent, and they are still investigating.
