ISP Troopers are investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at approximately 7:05 PM, on S. Kimball Ave. near Felton St. in Canyon County.

A 19-year-old male from Caldwell, was traveling northbound on Kimball Ave. in a 2013 Nissan Rogue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian walking near the roadway.

The pedestrian, a 46-year-old female from Caldwell, was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The 19-year-old driver was not transported. He was wearing a seat-belt.

Traffic on Kimball Ave. was blocked for approximately two and a half hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.
