23-year-old Kailee Cameron, of Meridian, faces one count of Vehicular manslaughter stemming from a fatal accident at the intersection of Cloverdale and Chinden on October 19th. According to a statement from Boise PD, Cameron had allegedly been drinking and traveling at a high rate of speed when her car smashed into a pickup driven by 54-year-old Ian Stickler, of Boise.
Cameron was traveling North on Cloverdale, Stickler was traveling East on Chinden. The impact forced both vehicles through a chainlink fence north of Chinden, coming to a rest on Chinden Ridge Drive.
